About this journey
A disease like cancer for a single individual is no longer a single disease. We thought until very recently of cancer as sort of a monolithic object, where the cells of the cancer cell are all doing the same thing – and all doing the same wrong thing. It turns out that that’s not the case. What happens with cancer is that the code is corrupted in different ways. So, what they do as cancer researchers is try to debug the code.
